Lotto Max is one of Canada's three national lottery games, drawn every Tuesday and Friday at 10:30pm ET. Players select seven numbers from 1 to 52; a bonus ball is then drawn from the same pool, not chosen by the player. The pool was 1 to 50 until the draw of 14 April 2026, so results on this site from before that date were drawn under the narrower matrix. Nine prize divisions reward winners, and a C$6 play buys four selections of seven numbers. The main jackpot starts at C$10 million and grows until it is won, to a maximum of C$90 million; once it passes C$50 million, extra C$1 million MaxMillions prizes are drawn alongside it.
Lottery FM publishes each Lotto Max result within minutes of the official draw, with every division, the winner count and the prize paid. Division 1 has not been won for 10 draws+.
How to play Lotto Max
Lottery FM does not sell tickets — this is how the game works wherever you buy one.
Lotto Max is played by selecting seven numbers from 1 to 52; a bonus ball is then drawn from the same pool, not chosen by the player. A C$6 play buys four selections of seven numbers, and draws are held every Tuesday and Friday at 10:30pm ET (11:30pm Atlantic time). Division 1 requires all seven numbers matched and wins the main jackpot. The other eight divisions pay, in order, six numbers plus the bonus ball, six numbers, five plus the bonus ball, five numbers, four plus the bonus ball, four numbers, three plus the bonus ball, and three numbers (a free play). The main jackpot starts at C$10 million and builds to a maximum of C$90 million; once it passes C$50 million, separate C$1 million MaxMillions prizes are drawn on top of it. A winning ticket is claimed through the regional lottery for the province or territory where it was bought — British Columbia Lottery Corporation, Western Canada Lottery Corporation, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, Loto-Québec, or Atlantic Lottery Corporation — not from the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, which administers the game nationally. Claims must be made within one year of the draw date.
