What we collect, why, and how to get rid of it. Short version: almost nothing, and nothing you have to hand over.
You can use every part of Lottery FM without giving us anything. There are no accounts, no passwords and no profiles. The two features that touch personal data are the number checker and jackpot alerts, and both are described in full below.
Lines you enter in the number checker are saved in your browser’s local storage on your own device, and they disappear when you clear the site data or use the “Clear all lines” control on the checker. When you run a check, the numbers on the lines being checked are sent to our server so it can search our indexed draw history for them — that request is what produces your results. The checker does not write checked numbers to our database or link them to an account, email address, or alert record. Because the check is currently sent in a URL query string, it may appear with ordinary request metadata in infrastructure logs.
When you submit the alerts form we store your email address and your alert preferences — the games, the trigger types, and the threshold amount — in our database right away, as a pending signup. We also store the country you signed up from, kept for future affiliate lottery-ticket sales, and a salted, one-way hash of the IP address you signed up from, used only to slow down abuse; the IP address itself is never stored. Nothing is sent until you click the link in the confirmation email, and that click is what turns the pending signup into a live one. Every alert email carries a working unsubscribe link, and using it deletes your entire record — email, preferences, country and IP hash — rather than flagging it as inactive.
We use privacy-preserving, aggregate analytics to count page views and see which games people look for. It sets no advertising cookies, does not follow you between sites, and does not build a profile of you.
You can clear locally stored lines at any time from the number checker, or by clearing site data in your browser. To change your alert preferences, use the manage link in any alert email. To have your email address and alert preferences removed entirely, use the unsubscribe link in any alert — that is a hard delete, not a deactivation — or write to us and we will remove it within seven days.
If this policy changes materially we will note it on this page and update the date above. Continued use after that means you accept the updated policy.
