Daily Grand is a Canadian national lottery game drawn every Monday and Thursday. A C$3 play is five main numbers from 1 to 49 plus one Grand Number from 1 to 7, drawn from its own separate pool rather than from the main numbers. The top prize is an annuity, not a growing jackpot: all five main numbers plus the Grand Number pays C$1,000 a day for life, or a C$7 million lump sum instead. The five main numbers alone pay C$25,000 a year for life, or C$500,000 as a lump sum. Nine prize divisions pay down from there to a free play.
Lottery FM publishes each Daily Grand result within minutes of the official draw, with every division, the winner count and the prize paid. Division 1 has not been won for 3 draws.
Lottery FM does not sell tickets — this is how the game works wherever you buy one.
Daily Grand is played by selecting five main numbers from 1 to 49 and one Grand Number from 1 to 7. The Grand Number comes from its own separate pool, not from the main numbers. A play costs C$3, and draws are held every Monday and Thursday at 10:29:59pm ET (11:29:59pm Atlantic time). Division 1 (all five main numbers plus the Grand Number) pays C$1,000 a day for life, or a C$7 million lump sum instead. Division 2 (five main numbers) pays C$25,000 a year for life, or a C$500,000 lump sum. The other seven divisions are fixed: C$1,000 for four main numbers plus the Grand Number, C$500 for four main numbers, C$100 for three plus the Grand Number, C$20 for three main numbers, C$10 for two plus the Grand Number, C$4 for one main number plus the Grand Number, and a free play for the Grand Number on its own. A winning ticket is claimed through the regional lottery for the province or territory where it was bought — British Columbia Lottery Corporation, Western Canada Lottery Corporation, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, Loto-Québec, or Atlantic Lottery Corporation — not from the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation, which administers the game nationally. Claims must be made within one year of the draw date.
