How to play Set for Life
Lottery FM does not sell tickets — this is how the game works wherever you buy one.
Set for Life requires selecting five numbers from 1 to 47 plus one LifeBall from 1 to 10. Tickets cost £1.50 per game. Draws occur Monday and Thursday. Division 1 (all five numbers plus LifeBall) wins £10,000 a month for 30 years. Eight divisions reward winners, every one a fixed cash amount: Division 2 requires five numbers without LifeBall; subsequent divisions require four matched numbers with/without LifeBall, three matched numbers with LifeBall, and lower combinations. The top prize's monthly payments have a capital component (tax free) and an interest component (subject to applicable tax), though the operator's licence states the payments will not fall below £10,000 after tax.

What's the minimum jackpot?£10,000/month for 30 years is the fixed top prize, not a rolling jackpot — the same amount is on offer every draw whether or not it's won. In the rare case its prize fund isn't enough to pay every top-tier winner in full, the fund is split evenly across them instead, and each winning entry can then choose a lump sum or an annuity over the remaining term; outside that rare case there is no such election.
How are the prize divisions calculated?Every prize tier, including the top prize (£10,000 a month for 30 years) and the second tier (£10,000 a month for one year), is a fixed cash amount — there is no pari-mutuel jackpot. Only a rare capping rule splits a tier's prize fund across winners; even then, only the top tier's winners are offered a lump sum instead of the annuity — the second tier stays 12 fixed monthly instalments.
