EuroMillions has 13 prize divisions. Division 1 (the jackpot) is reserved for entries matching every main number. Lower divisions reward partial matches, with prize amounts decreasing as the match requirements ease.

EuroMillions's 13 prize divisions are all pari-mutuel, paid as fixed percentage shares of the pan-European "Common Prize Fund" (every EuroMillions country allocates €1.10 per entry into it) — so a tier's per-winner amount depends on how many tickets across Europe win it that draw. UK Millionaire Maker, bundled with every UK entry, is a separate raffle under its own licence, not a 14th EuroMillions division.

Claim through the official Allwyn UK, not through this site. Smaller prizes can usually be paid at any authorised retailer; larger amounts require contacting the operator directly with the original ticket and ID. The Gambling Commission's Section 6 licence conditions set one claim window across every National Lottery game: 180 days, beginning the day after the draw.

EuroMillions prizes sit outside two separate UK tax charges, not one blanket rule. Capital Gains Tax excludes them by statute: "Winnings from betting, including pool betting, or lotteries or games with prizes are not chargeable gains" (Taxation of Chargeable Gains Act 1992, s.51(1)). Lottery winnings also fall outside the scope of Income Tax (HMRC Business Income Manual, BIM100101). Tax may still apply to what the money later earns — e.g. bank interest — once it sits in an account or is invested.
