Strike has 4 prize divisions. Division 1 (the jackpot) is reserved for entries matching every main number. Lower divisions reward partial matches, with prize amounts decreasing as the match requirements ease.

NZ$200,000 — when no Division 1 winner is found, the prize rolls into the next Strike draw and the jackpot grows.

Strike's Division 4 pays a fixed non-cash prize — a bonus Strike selection — instead of cash. Every other division, including the Division 1 jackpot, is pari-mutuel, a share of that draw's prize pool split among each division's own winners, and Division 1 rolls into the next draw's jackpot when unclaimed.

Claim through the official Lotto NZ, not through this site — smaller prizes can usually be paid at any authorised retailer, while larger amounts require contacting the operator directly with the original ticket and ID. New Zealand prizes must be claimed within 12 months of the date the winning numbers were drawn; a prize not claimed within that window is forfeited and the money is paid into the prize reserve fund, not held open for a late claim.

Strike (NZ) prizes are paid free of New Zealand income tax. As with any windfall, recipients should consider tax on subsequent investment earnings.
