Powerball Australia is drawn every Thursday. Players select seven main numbers from 1 to 35 plus one Powerball from 1 to 20. Nine prize divisions reward various winning combinations, with Division 1 requiring all seven main numbers plus the Powerball. Starting jackpots begin at A$5 million. Powerball Australia requires selecting seven main numbers from 1 to 35 plus one Powerball from 1 to 20. Draws occur every Thursday. To win Division 1, all seven main numbers plus the Powerball must match. Divisions 2 through 9 reward partial matches: seven main numbers without the Powerball, six main numbers with or without the Powerball, five main numbers with the Powerball, and lower combinations. Prize amounts vary by division and number of winners.

When are Powerball draws held?Entries close Thu · 7:30pm AEST, and the draw follows shortly after. Western Australia's own entries close later — 6:00pm AWST in WA. Results are published on this site within minutes of the official draw closing.
What's the minimum jackpot?A$5M — when no Division 1 winner is found, the prize rolls into the next draw. The largest historical jackpot for Powerball was $200M (2024).
How are the prize divisions calculated?Each division pays a share of the prize pool based on the number of entries matching that tier. With more winners in a division the per-winner amount drops; with fewer winners it goes up. Division 1 is reserved for entries matching every main number plus the Powerball.
Are the results on this page official?No. Numbers shown here are aggregated from public draw broadcasts and operator pages and should be treated as unofficial. Always reconcile your ticket against the operating lottery's own record before claiming any prize.
